In 34 days, you haven't spoken to me, but I'm somehow catching flack for words that were exchanged over a month ago? Um, delayed reaction much.

But to answer your question of: what do you think gives you the right to tell me what I should or should not have?

I have the right because you wanted my opinion. You wanted to know WHY, and I told you my exact thoughts on that subject. You don't like it? Tough, next time don't ask.

I honestly could really care less at this point. I'm tired of being the subject matter for pointless LJ rants, just because you're lonely and need someone to blame. I tried to be a good friend, and hell I still could be a good friend. But if you expect me to rush and message you, after you PLAINLY said : " I don't really want to address you on messangers anymore." Then you can go fuck yourself. It's not just up to me. It's up to you too, but obviously you've stated quite well how often you plan to message me. (And hell it's not like you DON'T have every piece of contact info for me. Phone, cell, etc.) So the messenger bit is just lame, and you don't have an excuse.

So, when you finally get your head out of your ass, you know how to get in touch with me.

I've now risen to the ranking of "Crazy Cat Lady".

The kittens were born early, early this morning! 5 total: 2 gray ones and 3 black ones.

Indoor Cats: 2 (Wendigo and Tigger(and the 5 h0jillion other names people call her)
Outdoor Cats: 1 (Samwise)
Studio Cats: 7 (2 females + 5 kittens) None of them have names but, they will soon!

Total Cats? 10 :D

And while I'll try to give some of the kittens away, the ones I can't get homes for will move with me to my new house. It's out in the country so they'll have more room to roam without the threat of so many cars. AND! The shed out back will be perfect for them this winter. So.. YAY!

I do have pictures of them. I'll try and get them up tomorrow.

We people here in the South, especially in TN, just can't seem to keep the most ignorant among us OUT of the news.

Despite being sans Gher-Gher, things have been going really well. I spent time with my mom this weekend, and ended up having a blast. Which was somewhat surprising, considering some of the snark and friction that came to surface last week.

I cut my hair. It's the shortest that it's ever been, and it looks fabulous. ... And yes there will be pics of it posted soon, most likely later tonight.

Today was busy. I ended up crashing around 5:45 this morning, only to be woke up by the roofers who arrived just after 7:00. Finally managed to get back to sleep for a little while, and was up and running by 10:00. Did all the fun, showery stuff, and then Mom and I headed over to the college. Confirmed my enrollment for summer classes, and TRIED to take care of other stuff... but that didn't work so well. The Student ID machine was down, and I couldn't remember my license plate number so that I could get my parking sticker for the summer.

Then there was insane confusion at the bookstore, but thankfully after about a half hour everything worked out. So it's all good. At least I'm registered for class and I have my book. I can take care of the rest next week when I get back from Chicago.

Tomorrow plans are to meet up with Susan around lunch, buzz around Jackson for a while, and then come home and juat hang out. Go to bed early (*gasp*), and then get up early and have nice start out on the 457 mile journey to Chicago. Ahh, a much needed break that I have been itching for, for a long while. Thus far the plans are for us to get in town, get checked in, and then go snag the tickets for the pre-screening of Serenity.

Thursday morning and Friday morning are pretty much open, and it's been ages since I've been to Chicago, so if any of you have any suggestions on what I should see/make time for. Lemme know!



And as for the journal change in appearance... I just felt like a change. Been reflecting on a lot of stuff lately. More will come about that later tonight.

Right now I'm being paged for supper at Mom and Dad's.

I'm a crackhead that apparently only functions at 1/3 brain capacity since I apparently share it with two others. I highly beg to differ with that little assessment, especially considering the source it comes from.

However ...working at 1/3 capacity is better than working at none at all, or worse having one that works but is a completely self-centered bitch.

At least in my 1/3 brained state even I have the capability to realize that the world and its people do not revolve around me, where as with you... in your full brain power still have trouble grasping that such a concept even exsists.

There is much more that could be said, but I will wait. Because I believe another one of the 1/3 will be posting something soon, so until then... I'll just wait.

Today- Yay! I get to go to the dentist. ... Which is about as fun as ripping off my fingernails for me, but at least my teeth will be good. I will also be drugged to the max, and more than likely remember nothing of this day at all, if past times are any indications. So if anyone gets any weird aims from me like, "Virginia I think we should make babies, because they'd be pretty" (Ah the thoughts of the drunken typers) then please disregard it :D

Tuesday- Not really sure yet, but I'm almost positive that it involves Firefly in some way shape or form! :D Speakin' of which, I just got the new Kaylee and Wash shirts that Kira screenprinted... and OMG. AWESOME. :D Still so excited about Chicago!

Wednesday- Not sure how the entire day is going to work, but we're probably going to lounge around the house for the better part of the day. alchematrix gets off work around 9:30ish and from there we're going to head out down to Memphis to be complete and utter fan girls and fan boy at the midnight showing of Star Wars Episode III. I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure that I head a rumbling about there being some Lekku in the works. >.> I don't know what that's all about though. <.<

Thursday- Will be a packing day. Getting things together and ready for Jesse to leave.

Friday- Jesse says good-bye to TN once again, and is off for Las Vegas and what we hope will be the start of one HELL of a financial opportunity for him. I'm excited for him. Well than and the fact, that after my classes in June. ... I'll be visiting in Vegas with him until school starts back. :D so YAY for goodness.

And for the rest of the week, totally not sure. Star's going back down to work the Ren Faire, and I may or may not go. We will just have to see. :D

Much fun and asshattery was had by all parties involved. :D
Met several of Star's friends that work faire, one or two I've actually bought stuff from before. The rest were show workers and entertainers. Very, very cool people. If you ever get a chance to go to a faire and the Jolly Rogers Pirate Brothers are there? GO! SO hilarious.

I have "bodice burn" in the shape of a butterfly, and it has super power fluttering action. Har.

I got 2 new bodices, both of which make me look fucking sexy as hell. I also go two little bodice critters to go with, them. I am the excited :D Pictures will come later, after I've had a chance to dress up right and proper without the weather messin' up the look.

Weekend Rundown:
Drove down Saturday morning, got to Faire around 11 left around 4. Snagged a hotel, slept/watched Episode 1 of Star Wars. Finally got up around 7:30 and went out to the mall. Prance around there for a bit, and ended up at Ruby Tuesdays. Good drinks, good food, good fun, and good times. :D

Swung by Wal-mart on the way home, picked up some lacing for my new bodice. Ribbon just wasn't cutting it for me; I needed something a bit more sturdy. Then it was back to the hotel, where we pretty much acted like 12 year olds until we ended up crashing for the night.

Got up at 9:30, lounged a bit, got packed up, got dressed up, and then checked out. Headed over to the Publix, snagged from snacky food for our day at Faire, and then we were off. :D Pretty much a repetition of Saturday for activites, but still a lot of fun. We got out of there around 5:30-6, and rolled into home around 9:15.

There was more amusement for us all when we got home, but I think that's better left for someone else to explain.

Hee. I've become a fanatic to a big degree. I don't think there is a day that passes when Firefly/Serenity isn't mentioned in some way shape of form. It's also a very rare thing not to find me chatting with at least 2 or 3 of the dozens of BrownCoat friends I've made since last summer.

Not only have I found people that share a common interest with me on the net; they're also some of the most amazing people I've ever had the pleasure of chatting with. I dish about this with pearqueen all the time, but seriously, her and I are literally dumbfounded over the coolness of these BrownCoats... and it just boggles the mind.

I'm not sure which I'm more fangirl about the movie or the Browncoats. Or maybe they just go hand in hand, cause you really can't have one without the other.

Thus far? Here is my little list of my fan-things. I'm sure as the movie draws nearer, it will get longer.

Autographed picture of one of the Crew. - Check.
